Heat Exchange Products (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1998, initially specialising in heat transfer applications.
Recognising the growing need to address water quality challenges, the company diversified its expertise into providing effective water management solutions to various sectors. Over time, HEPWater has become a comprehensive provider of water treatment and water transfer solutions.
Through strategic acquisitions of Valco Pipes in 2019 and Aqua Mechanica (formerly Continental Spares) in 2021, both specialists in products integral to water transfer, HEPWater has broadened its scope to offer complete end-to-end solutions.

Obtained ISO 9001 accreditation for Quality Management System, demonstrating our commitment to excellence.
2018
Investment & Growth
Majority shareholding acquired by the Allegrow Fund, which is managed by Eos Capital, strengthening our capacity for growth.
2019
Acquisition of Valco Pipes
Acquired Valco Pipes cc, expanding our capabilities in water transfer solutions including the supply of pipes, fittings and water meters.
2021
Acquisition of Aqua Mechanica
Acquired Namibia Aqua Mechanica cc (previously Continental Spares cc), further broadening our scope to supply water transfer solutions, including engines & borehole pumps, to the agricultural market.

The HEPWater Logo
HEPWater’s new logo pays homage to the company’s history, combining its former logo and slogan while also looking to the future. HEPWater’s Managing Director, Daniélla Faria, explains: “Our new logo is a testament to our journey over the past 25+ years and the company’s vision to be the preferred partner in water treatment solutions, expanding into new industries and the broader African market.”

commitment to solving water challenges. The new logo design incorporates these symbolic elements:

The gear symbolises innovation, efficiency, and the engineering capabilities of the HEPWater team.
The water droplet within HEPWater is grey to represent the various water types that the company treats – potable, industrial and wastewater – along with the diverse industries it supports, including but not limited to mining, water utilities, food & beverage, oil & gas, and green hydrogen.
Retaining its recognisable red and dark blue colour scheme, HEPWater’s new logo emphasises the company’s reliability, consistent service, and high-quality products. Aligned with its mission, HEPWater remains committed to solving water challenges in an efficient, economical, and sustainable manner.
